about

Conor O’Brien is a twenty-three year old Fashion Design graduate of the National College of Art & Design in Dublin, as well as a freelance professional harpist. From a young age, Conor had a passion for fashion and always aspired to design and make his own pieces.

Conor learnt to hand-knit at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021 with the mentorship of a relative and began to design and make scarves and sweaters, falling in love with the Aran knitting tradition, always seeing new ways that its beauty could be developed upon for a more contemporary look.

Conor is offering high quality, ethically made knitwear using the best natural fibres Ireland has to offer, with an overall goal of continuing Ireland’s rich textile tradition, reviving the Irish cottage industries and maintaining Ireland’s unique cultural heritage.
